Come As You Are by Jennifer Haupt

Come As You Are is a great book!

Easy to get back into quickly if you have to put it down. A great book to make you think about relationships in your life, what people mean to you, and the importance of honesty. Well-written, realistic, and highly recommended."

Come As You Are by Jennifer Haupt

Best friends as kids and a safety net for each other as teens, Zane and Skye’s relationship changed when an unexpected event happened. Now they are adults with a child that Skye is raising without Zane. She’s told Montana, now 10, as little about Zane as possible and not necessarily the whole truth.

Life has moved forward, and Skye and Zane both have regrets. Skye is thankful for her fiancé, Aaron, and his mother, and that they are family now. But why hasn’t she told Montana about their engagement yet?

When Skye gets a call that her dad passed away, she knows she has to go home, but going home means facing some hard truths that she would like to leave behind her. Going home also means being back to the place she fell in love with Zane. She knows it is time to face the truth, but how can she begin to tell Montana the truth after letting her believe what she has for so long?
