John’s medical issues continue in Sick part 3 and Susan knows John needs more help than she could ever give to him. Since he’s admitted everything to her now, it is her responsibility to get him help, right? Then she realizes her part in what has happened could get her into trouble, too. A horrible home invasion and being beaten by intruders seems to be the answer to their problems. When EMT’s take them to the hospital, an unexpected diagnosis shocks John and Susan and life becomes much more serious. John and Susan have a lot happening with John's new diagnosis, though he doesn’t believe it is real. They don’t have time for the constant interruptions from the police asking questions over and over. They just want to live their life, in the way that they do. Then, when Macy enters into their world, everything gets turned upside down. Can anyone help John and Susan? Can they save each other or is it too late for them? And, how will John react when a person from his past walks into the room?
