Author Lisa Cassman has written a beautiful book of poetry, and you can feel her heart on each page of the book.
The book is in sections that span through Lisa meeting a boy at summer camp, and keeping in touch through letters, to the heartbreak of saying goodbye, to find each other again, many years later and after difficult experiences in life that had taken them on different paths.
The poems are a collection written, in the beginning, by a young teen feeling special, to the words of a woman who has found her soulmate. The explanation at the beginning of each section pairs perfectly with the words written on the pages that follow.
This book is like a love letter written for years and done beautifully.
