The Removal Man by R. J. Parker

You hired professionals. You can trust them, right? Until you hear an odd noise in the night. You don't have neighbors and can't get to your phone. You need to protect your son and yourself. However you can.

"You'll figure out who it is, but the not the reason he's there. This book will keep you on your toes!"-Books and Pens on Green Gables

Moving is hard! Especially with a husband not there to help. But, Rose and her son, Noah, are making the best of it. When Noah begs to sleep outside in the tent one last time, Rose finally gives in and she'll sleep near the window with a watchful eye, in case he gets scared.

When Rose wakes up to pounding on the door she's a bit confused-maybe she had too much wine? But when she finally realizes what it is, poor Noah is scared-actually terrified-at the door. He had heard a strange sound-and had gotten locked out of the house!

When they investigate there is no one around. They fall asleep in the tent. But then, they hear it again. Rose is left to fight for Noah and herself as secrets are exposed and terror is all around her.

I was given this book to read and review.
