“Grace for a Drifter” is a sweet book with genuine characters who fell in love then faced immense pain and grief. Can they ever forgive the person responsible for their pain? Can a journey together help them heal? And, what will be discovered when they arrive? –Green Gables Book Reviews
This is the first book in the Belles of Wyoming Series I have read and I really enjoyed it. It is well written and a book with a hint of mystery, betrayal, sadness, love and hope. The setting is Wyoming, in the time of wagons and train rides. It is the story of Errol, a traveling cobbler with a broken heart, caused by his wife’s death and Grace, a school teacher with a broken heart because of her husbands betrayal and another personal loss. Both are lost and lonely.
In Errols travels, he thinks he sees his wife. But, how can this be? He was at her grave four years ago. He takes a chance and goes to another town, hoping to see her again. He does! How can this be? Can they forgive each others betrayals? Or is someone else responsible for betraying them?
