How to Spot a Psychopath by MQ Webb

Kindergarten. Not only an adjustment for the kids, but the mom's too. At least it is for Jess. The other moms seem to be handling it ok. There's a new mom in the mix, named Holly, and Jess isn't getting a good vibe.

Is Holly intentionally doing things to make Jess look bad in front of the other moms? And, if she is, WHY?

When Jess finds bruises on her daughter and hears they are from a girl named Mia, she is concerned. Then she meets the sweet little girl and finds out she is Holly's daughter. The two young girls become friends.

When Jess has a playdate at her house and there's one unexpected child there, Mia, she takes it in stride with snacks and watching over the three kids during playtime. Then, during a game of hide-and-seek, Mia can't be found, the worst thing has happened.

Mia has vanished and Jess is accused. Jess won't say what really happened. Is she protecting someone? Or is she guilty—and where is Mia?

"Great book! Well-written, interesting main characters, and it will keep you guessing!"-Books and Pens on Green Gables
